Jesse Pynigar is dedicated to delivering exceptional music editing, driven by his passion for enhancing storytelling through music. With a background in music and career working on soundtracks for television and film, he has demonstrated innovation, mastery, and the transformative power of music to elevate a visual narrative.
A classically-trained musician since 6, Jesse studied music and recording arts at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. His education continued in music technology at New York University, where he was later admitted into their premiere and intensive Film Scoring Workshop.
He joined Howard Shore’s production team in 2004 as a studio technician, quickly growing into new responsibilities as a music editor, copyist, and recordist, while working on over a half-dozen films.
Now located in Los Angeles, Jesse brings his expertise, creativity, and precision to every project as a music editor for television and film.
